Darminsky
ActiveThe venture-lab platform itself — a public home for Darminsky's active projects, apps, experiments, and updates.

The problem
A venture lab needs an honest public face: a place that showcases what's actually being built without overstating maturity. Most portfolio sites either hide the messy middle or dress prototypes up as products. Darminsky.ca is the counter-example — a transparent, stage-labelled window into the lab.
What’s being built
A Next.js 14 App Router site backed by a typed public-project content model and a Foundry-synced curation layer. It renders a curated project showcase with honest stage labels, rich project detail pages, an updates feed, and a notes/blog. A double opt-in newsletter now has a full admin composer with AI-assisted drafting and Foundry-derived issue suggestions, and a lightweight community layer is live on every project page — email-based follows, aggregate-only likes, and moderated comments behind a pre-moderation queue. An admin publishing dashboard merges admin-approved overrides over a committed JSON base before anything reaches the public site, and a tokenized, no-account preference center lets visitors manage everything tied to their email.
Latest update
Now an engageable platform, not just a showcase: email-based follows, aggregate likes, and moderated comments are live, the newsletter sends end-to-end with AI-assisted drafting, and a tokenized preference center lets visitors manage what we send them.

A lightweight community layer goes live on darminsky.ca
The venture-lab platform shipped its community layer this week. Every project page now has an aggregate like button and a moderated comment thread, plus a no-account notification preference center so visitors can manage what they hear about. It's built email-first, privacy-safe, and behind a moderation queue — nothing public until it's reviewed. Behind the scenes, the admin dashboard also gained AI-suggested newsletter candidates to make weekly updates less manual.

The community layer ships: follows, likes, moderated comments, and a newsletter that sends
A big stretch of building since the spring. darminsky.ca grew from a read-only showcase into something you can actually engage with: follow a project, like it, or leave a comment — all email-based, no accounts. The newsletter loop is now real end-to-end, with an admin composer, AI-assisted drafting, and a tokenized preference center so anyone can manage exactly what we send them. Under the hood, Project Foundry's direction sharpened around Architect, AI visuals, and a dedicated Forge workspace.
