The problem
Career advice is generic and quietly path-biased — usually toward whichever route the person giving it happened to take. Teens, career switchers, and parents get opinions when what they need is comparable numbers.
What’s being built
A comparison app that puts every realistic route to a career outcome next to the others on cost, time, debt, salary, risk, employment likelihood, flexibility, and break-even timing. pnpm workspace monorepo — React and Vite frontend with charts and dark mode, Express 5 API, PostgreSQL with Drizzle, and Zod schemas generated from an OpenAPI spec — deployed to Azure Container Apps.
Latest update
The framing is outcome-first: pick the career outcome, then compare every route to it on the same axes rather than arguing about paths in the abstract.
