The problem
People instinctively hear one song against another — similar beat, melody, vibe, lyrical rhythm, or structure — but turning that instinct into something you can actually listen to takes production skill, expensive tools, time, and technical audio knowledge.
What’s being built
A rights-aware sketchpad: not a public remix-sharing platform and not a piracy tool. The app has moved well past its mocked MVP — Clerk auth with owner-scoped data isolation and owner-gated file access (no open static serving), Postgres and Drizzle, a local and Azure storage abstraction, FFmpeg-based audio analysis and preview rendering, YouTube reference ingestion with optional authorized extraction, and transcription support for word-aware transitions. React, Vite, and Tailwind frontend over an Express API with typed OpenAPI contracts, deployed to Azure Container Apps through GitHub Actions.
Latest update
Everything that was mocked in the first MVP is now real: the analysis, the rendering, the storage, and the access control.
