Active

A private timeline for the events that actually mattered — mapped, selectively shared with family, and printable as a keepsake.

Last updated May 14, 2026

The problem

Meaningful life events scatter across social media, photo libraries, family stories, ancestry tools, and private memory. Existing products pick one lane — social feed, genealogy record, or static photo book — and none of them act as a living, visual map of a person's life and family story.

What’s being built

The MVP is a private milestone collection app for a family memory organiser: one owner creates bounded timeline collections, marks selected milestones shareable, generates revocable recipient links, collects contributions from family, and approves or rejects each submission before it appears. Next.js and TypeScript with Zod validation at every API and form boundary, Postgres via Drizzle, Vitest and Playwright coverage, deployed to Azure Container Apps. The longer arc connects modern life milestones backward into ancestry and family-tree data.

Latest update

Sharing is deliberately owner-gated: nothing becomes visible without the owner marking it shareable, and every recipient link can be revoked.

Current milestone

Owner-controlled sharing and contribution approval live on Azure Container Apps

Tech stack

Next.jsTypeScriptPostgreSQLAzure

Private by default. Nothing is shared unless the owner explicitly marks it shareable, recipient links are revocable, and family contributions require owner approval before they appear.
