This project is a working prototype — the core concept is proven but it is not yet production-ready.
The problem
Every navigation app optimises for arrival time. None of them answer the question a driver actually asks on a free afternoon: where's the good road? Pavement quality, curvature, and scenery are invisible to routing engines built around ETA.
What’s being built
An Expo (React Native) client for iOS, Android, and web over a TypeScript API, with custom scoring algorithms that rate road segments for smoothness, curvature, scenery, and fun. Route generation offers drive styles rather than just destinations, and telemetry optionally proxies through a GeoPulse deployment. First coverage area is Hamilton, Ontario.
Latest update
The client moved to Expo across iOS, Android, and web, with routing and scoring extracted into shared packages and telemetry proxied to GeoPulse.
